Raven Feathers

A girl vanished from her bed in a hospital vibrating with a mysterious hum. A young man recruited by a street gang turned cult in the tenement canyons. An under-plate worker waking up to watch himself die. A career criminal turned double agent fleeing his past.

These represent but a selection from the case files of Esau Alexander. A private detective by trade, he serves clients seeking protection and retribution in the city of Starfall. Built so high the ground is but a memory, the megaopolis teems with gangsters, crooked businessmen, petty criminals, and corporate goons vying for power. Be it as bodyguard, investigator, mercenary or executioner, it falls to him to take these rogues to task, and he does his job well.

But in a world where justice is a commodity, righteousness is just a trinket sold at auction. And the highest bidder is almost always the corporate aristocracy, obsessed with internal feuds and keeping their sprawling urban empire under their boot. How's a man to live when his expenses run high, and the greatest costs of doing business can't be measured in money?
